 The
‘CADET’ is the basic entry-level system. It displays real time lap times,
total number of laps, fastest lap and time of last lap.

 The
‘FUN’ displays real time lap times, total number of laps, fastest lap,
number of sessions, lap by lap information, split times where appropriate,
difference to fastest lap, total time of session, and infrared download
ability to PC. The memory will hold 100 laps.

 The
‘PRO’ displays real time information, total number of laps, fastest lap,
number of sessions, lap by lap information, split times where appropriate,
difference to fastest lap, total time of session, maximum engine revs
(4 and 2 stroke options), lap by lap engine revs, cumulative engine running
time, (up to 5 different engines), and infrared download ability to PC
(software available shortly). The memory will hold 100 laps.

 Fitting
the system to a kart is straightforward. The instrument attaches neatly
onto the steering wheel. Each system includes appropriate fittings. |

 Alfano
steering wheels in 2 styles and various colour options, designed specifically
for use with any Alfano 'Pro' or 'Fun' instrument. Creates an integral
'dashboard' within the steering wheel.

Temperature Sensors for Water and Air Systems
|
 Designed
specifically for installation in the cylinder head. The unit works with
the ‘PRO’ model only, and the temperature sensor enables a lap by lap
engine temperature monitoring display function with visual alarm facility
indicating when the temperature exceeds a pre-determined level to be viewed.

 Operates
as an adaptor to the cylinder head water temperature sensor to operate
in line with a water pipe, for non Rotax MAX engines. The sleeves come
in 4 different sizes—17mm, 19mm, 22mm, & 26mm.

 Designed
for Air Cooled engines in conjunction with the ‘PRO’ model only, the temperature
sensor enables a lap by lap temperature monitoring display function visual
alarm facility indicating when the temperature exceeds a pre-determined
level to be viewed.

Additional Options

 The
Download software kit is available for the FUN & PRO models. The kit includes
software, infra red pen, RS232 adaptor, cables and connectors. The software
can store track details and will graph and tabulate all information stored
in the instrument in various formats for comparison purposes. Information
can also be transferred to Excel or similar spreadsheet for analysis purposes.
Additional software licenses are available for customers with more than
one instrument.

 The
Infra Red receiver is for use on circuits where no magnetic strip is installed.
This unit directly replaces the magnetic sensor which comes as standard,
and will be supplied Free Of Charge as an alternative to the magnetic
sensor if the customer requires.

 An
Infra Red transmitter can be supplied for use with the Infra Red receiver.
One unit can be used at the circuit and will work for several karts.

 We
supply 2 different types of transmitters, one which operates with 4 AA
internal batteries included as part of the system, and the other which
operates from an external 6 or 12v battery.
